Tomorrow, June 30, at 10 p.m., GMA News TV brings National Geographic Channel’s Inside Malacañang to audiences. On its first Philippine free TV airing, Inside Malacañang takes viewers on an exclusive tour inside the official residence of the country’s chief executive. Produced by a Filipino production team, the documentary took over a year to make and delves into chambers of the palace that were previously off-limits to the media and the public.
Inside Malacañang also examines and breaks long-held myths and beliefs about the President’s entourage.
Get to know the everyday routines of the Presidential Security Group commander, the close-in security aide of President Benigno Aquino III, the presidential photographer and even the presidential food tester.
The documentary was written and directed by a Filipina, Marnie Manicad, who also produces the motoring show Turbo Zone and home building show Home Base that air on GMA News TV.
