Busy Christmas for Backroom artists

MANILA, Philippines - Ai-Ai delas Alas is busy with corporate shows and taping Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 and Binondo Girl (with Kim Chiu). She is now shooting her new movie titled Enteng ng Ina Mo with Vic Sotto. The movie is directed by Tony Reyes under Star Cinema and M-Zet Productions. Ai-Ai endorses Maggi Magic Sarap, Smart, Mang Inasal, Gal’s Bakery, Pharex Naproxen Sodium and Flawless.

Aside from corporate shows, Bianca Gonzalez hosts E-Live, TFC Connect, Cinema News, CGE.TV, and will soon reprise her role as host of Pinoy Big Brother. She is also active in her advocacies: Unicef and Teach Kids To Learn Foundation. She is the endorser of Meg, Calayan Surgicenter and Globe.

He will have a special show at the Grand Charity Concert at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, Australia on Oct. 8 and It’s Banana with Pokwang and Angelica Panganiban at Hoops Dome, Mactan, Cebu, Oct. 22. He will have a US Tour on Nov. 23 to Dec. 11. He endorses House Topping’s Inasal.

 K Brosas is part of Maria La Del Barrio starring Erich Gonzalez and Enchong Dee. She will have a series of shows abroad: Australia on Oct. 6 to 10); London, Oct. 14 to 19; Abu Dhabi, Oct. 20 to 23; Qatar, Nov. 7 to 8; and Japan, Nov. 26 to 28. She is the endorser of Wings Detergent.           

Gelli de Belen and Ariel Rivera are busy with their respective careers. Gelli endorses Alaska, PLDT, Caltrate, Green Cross Alcohol & Soap and Kraft Food. After Mula sa Puso, Ariel will start taping his new ABS-CBN teleserye.

Drew Arellano is your reliable travel companion with his show Weekend Getaway on GMA News TV 11. He is regularly seen in Unang Hirit and AHA on GMA 7. He is also a sought-after host in corporate shows. He endorses Milo Energy Drink.

Ima Castro had a Pagcor show last Sept. 21 in Angeles, Pampanga. Duncan Ramos is part of ASAP Sessionistas and is preparing an all-original album under an indie label.

Bobby Garcia recently finished In the Heights and will soon direct Atlantis Productions’ Little Mermaid while direk Laurice Guillen is part of Reputasyon. GB Sampedro directs TV5’s Paparazzi and corporate events and concerts.

Julius Babao and Karen Davila are regularly seen in Bandila and Teleradyo.

Coach Jim Saret is an international fitness instructor while cager Sean plays for the Philippine Basketball Association’s Powerade Tigers.
