Is Myrus the next big thing?

MANILA, Philippines - Multimedia mogul and star maker Vic del Rosario could not help but express his admiration on the level of talent of the sentimental prince Myrus Ramirez upon watching the video footages of his recent first solo concert.

“I had chills listening to Myrus! He has an exceptionally emotional voice,” describes del Rosario, the chairman and chief executive officer of Viva Talents Agency, Inc.

“I think Myrus is going to be the next big thing in the music industry,” says the man who is behind the successes of many of local showbiz stars today including Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis, Mark Bautista, Rachelle Ann Go, Cristine Reyes, and Princess Velasco.

Myrus, who is best known for his critically acclaimed remake of Claire dela Fuente’s 70s hit song “Sayang,” is expected to sign recording and co-management contracts with Viva this week. His debut album titled “Love Cycle” and its repackaged version has already reached the gold status in December, 2009.

“I’ve always wanted to be a Viva artist. I am ecstatic and grateful that Boss Vic accepted us under his wing,” relates Myrus.

“This is the big break that I’ve waiting for... I know Viva and my original talent manager Chris Cahilig will take care of my career,” adds Myrus.

Big plans await Myrus this year. He is scheduled to release his second album in July and is expected hold a series of campus concerts in key cities nationwide. A regular television gig is also in the offing.

Myrus is sponsored by White Flower Embrocation, the Mendez Medical Group, and the Gan Advanced Osseointegration Center (GAOC). For booking inquiries, please contact Chris Cahilig Consultancy at telephone numbers 6647213, 9751257 and mobile number 0915-8661238.
