Sex worker lands in jail

MANILA, Philippines - A 45-year-old sex worker landed in jail after allegedly swallowing her Swedish client’s wedding ring in a motel in Manila yesterday.

Johansson Stig Ingermar filed a theft complaint against the woman with the Manila Police District.

Ingermar said he left his wedding ring on the table and went to the toilet. When he went out, the ring was missing.

He asked the woman for the ring but she allegedly threatened to stab him.

The Swedish said woman asked for P5,000 in exchange for the ring.
