All set for 40th Mano Amon Run

CEBU, Philippines — The Halad Kang Mano Amon Run 2018 will take place on December 23 at the Plaza Mano Amon in Danao City.

The fun run features the 3K, 6K and 12K distances. Students can join the 3K category,the residents of Danao City can register in both the 3K and 6K, while the 12K is open.

The race, held in memory of the late Ramon “Mano Amon” Durano Sr., is considered as the second longest running event in Cebu. It will be celebrating its 40th edition this year.

Danao City Sports Commission is spearheading the event every year.

Aside from medals, the organizers will shell out a total of P40,000 in cash prize for the top performers in each category. The first 500 finishers will also get a free singlet.

Registration, which is for free, is set on December. 17-21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Office of the City Administrator.
