CEBU, Philippines - Up and coming Cebuano pawnpushers will once again test each other's wits via the 18-Under Open Chess Tournament  today at the Deep Club Cafe in SM City-Cebu.

The 7-round Swiss competition sponsored by Engrs. Anthony Abueva and Joel Costillas and lawyer Jong Melendez promptly starts at 10:30 am.

The champion will pocket P1,200, while the second to fourth placers will take home P800, P600 and P400, respectively.
