CEBU, Philippines —  Cebu City has recorded 19 new coronavirus disease 2019 cases and no new deaths on Friday, according to the Department of Health in Central Visayas data.

As of September 11, 2020, the city has 9,695 total cases with 367 active cases.

There are 37 additional recoveries bringing the total recoveries to 8,667.

The total deaths remained at 661.

The same DOH-7 data shows that Mandaue City has recorded nine new cases bringing the total cases to 2,315 while 249 of these are active.

There were 33 additional recoveries reported putting the total recoveries to 1,939.

The total deaths stood at 127 as three new deaths were reported lately.

Lapu-Lapu City has recorded only five additional COVID-19 cases, bringing the total cases at 2,243 with 203 active cases.

The total recoveries remained at 1,948 when no new recovery was recorded.

The total deaths remained at 92 as no new death was reported.

In Cebu Province, the total number of cases is at 5,008 with 573 active cases after recording additional 29 cases.

The total number of recoveries is at 4,108 of which 48 are new.

The total number of deaths is at 327 with two new deaths.

As of Friday, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Central Visayas is 19,653 with 1,523 active cases, 16,913 total reported recoveries and 1,217 total reported deaths. — GMR (FREEMAN)
