Man dies in Sogod motorcycle accident

CEBU, Philippines - A 31-year-old man died after his driven motorcycle bumped another motorcycle in Sogod, Cebu early morning yesterday.

Rexiel Sudaria, married, a resident of Sitio Luyao, Barangay Pansoy, Sogod sustained severe injuries and was declared dead on arrival at the Sogod District Hospital after his black Honda Wave motorcycle with plate numbers GU-4800 rammed another motorcycle traveling on the opposite direction.

In an investigation conduced by Sogod police, Sudaria was allegedly driving his vehicle at 2:20 towards north from Sogod town proper when he accidentally lost control and bumped a Ramjet motorcycle with plate numbers 3723-BK.

The Ramjet motorcycle, owned and driven by Eugeniano Armenton, 28, of Barangay Tapilon, Daanbantayan was traveling towards the south.

Due to the impact, Sudaria was allegedly thrown a few meters away from where the collision happened.

Both drivers sustained injuries in the different part of their bodies and were rushed to the nearby hospital.
