Induction of Consular Corps Officers

The Consular Corps of the Philippines, Cebu Chapter, had a simple but meaningful induction of officers at the Casino Español de Cebu with Ambassador Francisco L. Benedicto as inducting officer.

Inducted were: Consul of Israel Emily Benedicto Chioson, Chairperson; Consul of Sweden Jose Sala, Vice Chairman; Consul of Portugal Carmen Durano, Secretary; Consul of Spain Emeritus Jaime Picornell, Treasurer; Consul of Canada Robert Lee, Director.

Other members of the Consular Corps present were: US Consul General Michael Schimmel, Consul John Domingo of the US, Austrian Consul Julie Alegrado Vergara, Spanish Consul Anton Perdices, Russian Consul Armi Garcia, Consul Moya Jackson with daughter Tamsin Booth, Consul Antonio Chiu and wife Nellie and members of the press.
