MOMMY ON BOARD - Kristalle Marie Garcia-Kekert -

Specializing in children’s home furniture and accessories, business partners Liza Robinson, Bea Ilusorio and Andie Quila (co-founders and proprietors of Two Tots Home Accessories Inc) share how their product line can make your child’s bed and playroom feel special.

“Coming from separate export and manufacturing backgrounds, we first made these items for our own use and eventually thought to make them for other families, as well. This idea came about when we could not find certain things to decorate our children’s rooms”, Lisa shares.

“After I had my first child, I discovered a good marketplace here in the Philippines for children’s furniture and accessories. I was very lucky to be surrounded by friends and family with the same needs, which helped establish our company as it is today”, says Bea.

“I chose to become a pre-school teacher for my love of children and enjoyed being one for four years. Being a full time mom and spending most of my time at home, I see everyday, how important it is to have attractive, functional, durable and child-friendly home accessories and furniture for my little ones, which is what Two Tots is all about”, Andie expresses.

Taking inspiration from other furniture retailers, mompreneurs Liza (mother to girls aged 5 and 3), Bea (mother to one) and Andie (mother to two, aged 4 and 5 months old) tastefully design the furniture and accessories themselves. Locally manufactured but classically designed, the Two Tots product lines are items that have been thought through, as well as tried and tested.

With a wide range of products available, there are just so many wonderful things to choose from! “Anything storage-related is mostly in demand. Within our furniture line, we have the Twin Beds, Elizabeth Bookcases, Changing Tables and the Andrea Library Bookcase. The colourful storage woven baskets, bean bags and magnetic canvases are popular ones from our accessories line”, says Liza. Two Tots also has convertibles available, such as their changing tables, which have a removable topper that can be used from birth onwards, or a wide hand-painted themed range including a laundry hamper, growth chart, wooden crate, diaper stacker, quilts, pillow, picture frames, wall art, magnetic boards, wooden peg hangers, bean cubes and more using lead-free paint. For unique room accessories that are made to order, Two Tots can work with you to create your very own personalized items to suit your taste as well as your child’s needs. You may also create your own baby registry.

“We are really proud to be sourcing everything in the Philippines. This allows us to provide our customers with good quality products, which we can personally monitor. The upside to local sourcing means that we can complete the accessory line and if something is not in stock, we can replenish it as quick as possible, which doesn’t leave our customers with an incomplete range of products”.

Kid-Friendly, Mother-Approved. Two Tots sells through two main channels, their website at www.twotots.net as well as ID Ideas for Living homestore located along Chino Roces Avenue (Pasong Tamo Extension) in Metro Manila. If you require items that are made to order, you may contact Two Tots at [email protected] (shipping to the Visayas and Mindanao region is available as well).
