My New Year's Resolution is to...

CEBU, Philippines - The start of a new year is a chance for us to do good, to do better or to change things that did not go well in the past year. If 2010 was a good year for you, then you plan out to be better in 2011. If you did something wrong and would want to change things, then 2011 will be a chance to make things right.

So that they will be guided in what to do for the new year, some people make a New Year’s resolution, a goal that they would want to achieve. “What is your New Year’s resolution?” was the question we posed to these people and here are their answers:

I had one this year, NOT to drink cola/softdrinks unya kutob ra jud ko sa March, wala kalahutay. My resolution this 2011 will probably be: to lessen consumption of processed foods and to drink more water and fresh juices and to see the dentist and doctor twice a year, and to change toothbrush every two months.

With the many things I need to straighten out, it is rather hard to choose which one to focus on. But! This 2011, I should be able to influence more people into striving for betterment. This is to be accomplished by walking all my talks, listening to what people have to say and proactively recommending what will be mutually beneficial. I promise to be open-minded but relevancy-oriented. The result/s should be measured and evaluated by the end of 2011. How? I still have to find out. Happy New Year!
