CEBU, Philippines - Manager Cebu Camilla Taylor led a group of Cebu’s top 10 Travel Agents to Hong Kong on June 9-11, to present their award and thank them for their support in the past year.
The two-day experience started with a visit to the Hong Kong Jockey Club for a 10-course Chinese dinner at the horse races. It was an exciting start of the trip, with the agents betting on their favorite horses to win, with a jump-start from the “lucky money” they got courtesy of CX. In spite of the rain, the group also got a chance to go ringside and view the races and the horses up close.
The next day brought a visit to the HKTB headquarters for a short briefing and some time for the requisite shopping. Afternoon tea followed amid the stunning views of Victoria Harbour at the famed Café Gray of the Upper House.
This all led up to the main purpose of the trip- the agent recognition, which was held on board one of the Swire yachts, The Taikoo Sky. It was a first time experience for the agents as the yacht took the group on a leisurely sail from Victoria Harbour up to Penny’s Bay at Hong Kong Disneyland which served as the backdrop for the awarding.
Camilla did the honor of presenting the awards to the deserving agents while on board, with help from Passenger Sales Executive, Jewel Sanchez and Passenger Sales Supervisor, Connie Cimafranca. After the awards were presented, right on queue, fireworks lit up the night sky over Hong Kong Disneyland, truly an exciting cap to the trip’s events. PR
