The T+L 500 results are based on the World’s Best Awards survey, in which Travel + Leisure subscribers evaluated hotels on five characteristics: rooms and facilities, location, service, restaurants and food, and value. The publication calculated the average rating of each characteristic and tabulated each property’s overall score.
Meanwhile, the World Travel Awards hailed Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa as Asia’s Leading Beach Resort.
