See you at UCC

CEBU, Philippines – “Need service? You need not to raise your hands. Just press the button and waiters will come serve you,” says UCC Coffee Philippines owner and president Hubert Young.

Good food. Better ambiance. Best service. And a “good happy smile”. These make UCC Café Terrace hard to be unloved by all coffeeholics and food aficionados all over the world. Since the northern cities of the country had tasted the best of UCC Coffee, it’s time for the Queen City of the South to have a sip of UCC Coffee’s delights.

As UCC Coffee launched its 18th concept restaurant last April 25 at the Ayala Center Cebu Terraces, Young introduces an authentic Japanese flavor from beverages to deserts and to cuisine through his distinctly-styled UCC Café Terrace in Cebu. “We are not just a café that serves coffee. We are a café that serves authentic Japanese coffee… brewed beverages, Japanese cuisine: salads, sandwiches, spaghetti and tasty desserts,” Young shares.

Making it definitely different from the rest of the nearby cafés, Young said that UCC Café Terrace is a “fine dining café” and a “hotel coffee shop” in one, allowing businessmen, friends and corporate employees to have a soothing space to meet, exchange ideas, discuss and do business.

UCC Café Terrace in Cebu serves UCC siphon-filtered coffee, which said to have undergone “meticulous brewing process that brings out the optimum flavor, aroma, and taste of coffee beans through the precise measurement of time and boiling temperature”.

They take pride on their own espresso-based coffee, health drinks, sandwiches, Japanese pasta, Japanese rice dishes, Filipino breakfast meals and desserts.

“We want to give more Filipinos and coffee lovers outside Manila a chance to experience the flavors of UCC Coffee and taste UCC Coffee’s Japanese fusion dishes. That’s why we opened UCC in Pampanga late last year and now UCC Café Terrace in Cebu,” Young said

UCC Coffee has 17 other conceptualized concept stores (Café Terrace, Vienna Café, and Park Café) located in some of the country’s finest malls and commercial establishments.

“I am bringing the public something that’s good for them…”, says Young with a happy smile.
