CEBU, Philippines — Balladeer Bryan Termulo and jokester Rufa Mae Quinto had guests swooning and laughing out loud at the grand launch of Casino Filipino Cebu’s recent tagline launch.

Taking the “Your One Great Experience” tagline to heart, the two performers started things off the right way. Both clad in rich and celebratory red, Bryan and Rufa made sure that everyone was in on the singing, the kilig, and the laughter.

Bryan, a Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3 runner-up, shared how happy he was to be back after a few years since his last visit to Casino Filipino Cebu as he said hello to local and foreign guests, learning how to say “thank you” in their respective languages.

The singer started with pop hits like Charlie Puth’s “Marvin Gaye” and “One Call Away,” and James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go.” Chatting with audiences, Bryan made sure to pay extra attention to the ladies, accommodating them, saying things that made them blush before proceeding with his teleserye soundtrack medley which included hits like “Sa Isang Sulyap Mo.” His repertoire also included “She” by Elvis Costello, Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful,” Skylark’s “Wildflower” and “Sometimes When We Touch” by Dan Hill."

Before making way for Rufa, both stars merged onstage, sharing a song and serenading guests with their fun version of “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang.”

It didn’t take long for Rufa to have the stage all to herself. The goofy seductress greeted guests and players, wishing them luck in their games and the nights to come.

The actress joked with fans, catching up and taking selfies with them despite the train of her gown and her high heels.

Mother to one-year-old Alexandria, Rufa is as fit as ever at 40 years old, flaunting the body she worked hard to achieve after gaining weight during her pregnancy. She sang and danced to songs like Katy Perry’s “Firework,” “Dadalhin” by Regine Velasquez, and “Payphone” by Maroon 5. She also called on two lucky audience members to sing Bruno Mars’ “Versace On The Floor” with her.

Rufa noted how beautiful Cebuanas are, revealing that her late mother too was a Cebuana. Before bidding goodbye, the audience asked for more. Rufa obliged, singing her version of Cliff Richard’s “Ocean Deep” and Sia’s “Titanium."

But Bryan and Rufa are just the tip of the iceberg. Since Casino Filipino Cebu promised to amp up their entertainment shows as part of giving guests and players the one great experience, more big names are set to visit Cebu to perform at the Casino Filipino Cebu main and satellite branches in Mactan, Crown Regency, Talisay City and Parkmall.

Casino Filipino Cebu has booked artists to spice up the month of August starting with Bugoy Drilon who was here last August 4, followed by Randy Santiago on August 11.

At the satellite branches, Hajji Alejandro was at CF Mactan on August 9, followed by Kim Idol at the Parkmall Satellite on August 15.

More acts like Liezl Garcia and Thor will be at the Mactan Satellite on the 20th, while April Boy Regino will entertain guests on September 28 at the Talisay Satellite.

“Our goal is to strengthen our connection with our clients. In casinos, we don’t sell products, we sell experience,” CF Cebu branch manager Ricardo Uy said.

“Guests may come not just to play but to have fun and be entertained. We want them to have that great, unforgettable experience when they visit.”

Uy said that Cebu has so much to offer, and they would like to add their entertainment attractions to the island's offerings.

Cebu talents will not be overlooked as well, as CF Cebu promises to continue and support local artists and bring them to the CF Cebu stage for their nightly shows.

“We want them to experience the best of Cebu not only the city’s tourist’s spots and delectable cuisines but also our entertainment offerings,” Uy adds.

At the grand tagline launch, Uy shared the meaning behind their catchphrase logo. The tagline “Yur One Great Experience” is unique to CF Cebu, as a way of reaching out to guests and making sure they don’t miss out on the fun regardless of which CF branch they choose to visit.

Of the logo's shape, a playing chip embellished with all the suits of a deck of cards, Uy explains that “One” denotes a moment, something that is “very special, one that is unforgettable.”

Uy says that casinos offer experience, and they hope to provide the thrill and excitement – something that is always great in their attempt to deliver everything.

Black and gold dominate the logo, for “a touch of class and elegance.” A heart stands out as well, representing love, sincerity and emotion.

“Sabi po nila marami pong tao na walang puso, marami pong organization na walang puso. Kami po meron. Elegance with a heart,” Uy concludes.
