Undercover Grasshoppers releases ‘Enigma’ music video

CEBU, Philippines - A year after Undercover Grasshoppers released their debut album, this Cebu-based independent rock band gives us something new to look forward to this month.

On Nov. 9 at 8 p.m., head on to The Chillage as Undercover Grasshoppers releases a brand new music video of their latest single, “Enigma.”

“Enigma” is a track from their album titled “Crop Circles” released under independent record label 22 Tango Records. The music video is produced by Southernlads Productions, a group of film enthusiasts who have created music videos for other local artists as well.

“‘Enigma’ is a song about someone who has a huge effect on you, someone who can influence you in a big way but at the same time you’re still trying to figure out why because you still don’t know the reason behind it. So that person is kind of like an enigma,” says Undercover Grasshoppers’ frontwoman and songwriter Cilee Kuizon.

To see how Southernlads relay this into a music video, be sure to catch its premiere at The Chillage, ground floor of Adnama Building, North Reclamation, Mandaue City. Other acts who will be performing with them that Saturday night would be Womb, Honeydrop and Snubear. There will also be an exhibit featuring photos of Undercover Grasshoppers taken by different photographers through the years.

As announced on their social network accounts, this will be more than just a music video launch. It will be a special gig especially for Cilee Kuizon because she will be leaving the country soon and it might be a while before they can play another gig.

This event is presented by 22 Tango Records together with Southernlads Productions and The Chillage.
