15 Beauties Vie For Miss Teen Metro 2010

CEBU, Philippines - Metro Gaisano is once again in search of a young female who will effectively model their products and be the face of their numerous Metro Cebu stores. After screening 46 contestants, 15 lovely teeners are now competing for the title of Miss Teen Metro 2010.

Now on its second year, Miss Teen Metro is hoping to find someone who is an epitome of intelligence, beauty and talent. The official candidates were recently presented to the public and the press at Metro Colon's stage activity area, where they held a mini fashion show and were grilled in a Q&A by the press and company sponsors regarding a wide range of topics including social networking etiquette, pre-marital sex and pageant catfights.

Vying for Miss Teen Metro 2010 are the following: Eloiza Loryn Invento, 14; Anne Jelyn Concepcion, 16; Ma. Theresa Porcia, 13; Zerah Lubang, 15; Tricia May Cabelino, 18; Jaya Lozano, 14; Daff Reighyan Ybañez, 16; Maria Cassandra Yu, 17; Rochelle Agnes Lebosada, 14; Guada Mikka Abenoja, 18; Jomalyn Seldura, 18; Kathrina Marie Taneo, 14; Eddlyn Fabia, 15; Lawrence Casas, 15; and Stephanie Eliza Cummins, 16.

As young as these hopefuls are, a lot of them already have previous teen pageant titles under their belt. Give it a few years, and a few could very well be in the running to be a Miss Cebu finalist.

Last October 23, the girls were made to showcase their other abilities aside from walking the ramp and spontaneously answering questions during the Talent's Day. October 30, they again competed for the minor awards which were Best in Gown, Miss Photogenic, Miss Ponds, and Miss Creamsilk.

Metro shoppers will also be given a chance to vote for their favorite candidates if they purchase P50 worth of Pond's Pure White, Creamsilk, Sunsilk, Pure Swiss Body Lotion or Pepsodent products. These votes will be counted on November 11, wherein the Lucky Voter's Choice Home Partner will also be drawn. Finally, the grand coronation will be on November 13 which will still be held at Metro Colon's stage activity area.

The winner will receive P7,000 cash, P5,000 worth of gift items and a modeling contract for Metro Gaisano stores. Aside from the cash prize and gift packs, the top three winners will be given certificates for an overnight stay good for two at the Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel.
