What keeps Judy Ann Santos unfazed by controversies?

(INTRO) Young superstar Judy Ann Santos is a picture of a very happy and fulfilled young woman today. This doesn’t mean that her life is free from occasional challenges—but what is good with Judy Ann is that she is able to transcend many trials and make them work to her advantage. This makes her the survivor that she is now.

“Wala na akong Fear Factor ngayon lalo pa’t I’m blessed to be supported by very special people,” alluding to her boyfriend’s show and support. “Pag may mga trials sa buhay ko, nagdarasal na lang ako tapos nagugulat ako na lagi na lang may magandang kapalit galing sa Itaas,” Juday admitted.

Aside from “Ploning,” her first film venture as a producer which is now the Philippine representative to the Oscars, Judy Ann is grateful for Mother Lily and Roselle Monteverde for trusting her with movies that matter. “Nagsimula akong magbida sa Regal at dito rin ako nanalo ng mga una kong awards. Lagi kong tatanawin na malaking utang na loob ito sa kanila,” said Juday.

Here in “Mag-ingat Ka Sa …Kulam,” she plays Mira, a survivor of a car accident that has partly affected her memory. But what drives her character to confusion are the strange things that start to occur in her home as a malevolent spirit threatens to destroy her marriage and her relationship with her daughter.

“Yun yung pinagkaiba naming ni Mira sa totoong buhay, I will never ever let anything or anyone get in the way of my family and personal life,” Juday emphasized. “I’ve given my young life to this business and I’m grateful for all the blessings that it has brought me, but I intend to spare my family and my loved ones from the pressure of show business. I will stand for them anytime,” remarked Juday who is said to be settling down in the near future with boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo.

Aside from Judy Ann Santos, MAG-INGAT KA SA…KULAM, which is Regal’s 48th Anniversary Presentation, stars Dennis Trillo, TJ Trinidad, Mart Escudero, Kris Bernal and Sharlene San Pedro. Written and directed by Jun Lana, the film will usher in the Halloween month and is showing on October 1 in theaters nationwide. A simple birthday party to mark her debut is what Rhian Ramos wishes for her special day on October 2, 2008 to be held at “Embassy” Disco Club at The Fort, Taguig.

It will not be a lavish celebration unlike if the party would be held in a hotel. There won’t even be any cotillion. But there will be 18 roses to be participated in by some of Rhian’s close friends.

Among her showbiz friends invited to the affair are Richard Gutierrez, Mark Herras, JC De Vera and Richard Gomez.

Richard Gutierrez, Mark at JC were her ka-love team in various TV shows on GMA 7, while Richard Gomez played her father in one of her past shows. Also included in the 18 roses set-up are her classmates in school and childhood friends.

She will also be inviting some ABS-CBN stars to her party, like Rayver Cruz who is rumored to be one of Rhian’s suitors.

Rhian would not confirm Rayver’s presence but she definitely invited him. Her debut is not just a coming out party for Rhian but also a way to thank the Lord for all the blessings that came her way, both in her personal life and in her career in showbiz. The party is expected to be star-studded.
