When God allows

The many comments that the president is getting from both the religious and the non- religious has placed God in the center of it all. Not even the president. At least for me. Because I have stopped taking everything that the president says hook line and sinker. It’s not worth it actually. 

God needs no defense. He is God! He is real. And those of us who know Him and have experienced His power and grace know that He lives and can do anything He wants if and when He so desires so that sometimes He allows off-beat comments to come so those of us who see His deeper self can examine our hearts and put to test our own understanding of God.

Of course our creator made everything perfect. No one can design the galaxy with all the intricacies of science with just a word. Only God can. He made night and day with a whisper and molded man out of nothing. Ashes, dust, refined and not malleable at all, was the ingredient God held in His hands to shape us.

Have you ever wondered how one can put dust together? Let alone shape it ?  It will take superhuman effort and patience. Or let’s take mud for instance, gooey or slurry and try to shape even just a hand. Can you write all the lines in the palm and burry in its web the nerves and vessels that connect to your heart? Only God can.

Ok, so some translations of scripture say we were created from clay. Who had the genius to shape us? Give us character, compassion, discernment and even the power to vote? Only God.

Who has given you your business and the acumen that sustains it?  Or has given you the conscience to choose integrity over expediency? Only God.

And because I believe that He has created me out of nothing and that Jesus converted my nothingness into something He found worthy to die for, I will not let what anybody says about my God matter to me because it is enough for me that God has planted faith in me and I have been chosen not to defend Him but to simply say who He is to me.

He is God!
