Cebu-based news site wins web award

CEBU, Philippines - A beta website, tenminutes.ph was the lone Cebu-based news site winner of the Digital Filipino Web Awards along side big national media brands Rappler, Inquirer, ABS-CBN.

The award was held on March 5, 2014 at the Amphitheater of Ateneo Graduate of School of Business, Rockwell Drive, Makati City.

Tenminutes.ph won in the the Digital Filipino Web Awards 2014 under the New Media (Emerging) category.

The winners were selected through tracking tools used to evaluate websites based on: Search engine visibility, Social media engagement, Website traffic, Website performance. (FREEMAN)
