Robinsons Iloilo undergoes expansion project

MANILA, Philippines – Robinsons Place Iloilo strengthens its presence in Western Visayas with an expansion project slated for completion by 2013. The mall’s new 6-level building to be constructed at the area of the Ledesma carpark, will be the newest entertainment hub for Ilonggos and tourists visiting the area.

Aside from addition of new brands for more extensive lifestyle choices, the more spacious Robinsons Place Iloilo  located near the city’s major thoroughfares like De Leon, Ledesma, Mabini and Quezon Streets, will be able to accommodate 75 new tenants with  over 3,500 square meters  of retail space.

The development will also create a modern, and refreshing façade for the lifestyle hub that has offered Ilonggos with fine leisure line-up ranging from apparel to shoes, and dining to entertainment. Robinsons Iloilo currently has 200 stores, dining outlets, entertainment facilities, and service centers. Additional parking spaces can be found in the 5-level carpark of the mall located in front of Sta. Teresita Church.

Robinsons Place Iloilo also boasts of the newly-renovated Foodcourt Area, Pop Shops, a one-stop area for the trendiest and stylish picks, and Robinsons Movieworld which features a 3D cinema.

Go Hotel opens

The mall further extends its leisure reach with the addition of Go Hotels Iloilo – a four level tourist center that will carry the brand’s unique pricing concept and the same hotel and room features.

Guests staying in the hotel’s over 150 rooms will enjoy quality beds, rainshower and handheld shower, LCD TV, and Wi-fi access inside their rooms. Security won’t be a problem and because of its location in the mall, it is in close proximity to other landmarks via available transport hubs. The fun and friendly staff will also ensure that one’s stay is unforgettable.

Travelers will be rewarded with low rates just by booking significantly early at the hotel’s website, www.gohotels.ph.
