Citi installs dual-currency ATM in Rockwell

MANILA, Philippines -  Citibank has installed an automated teller Machine (ATM) at the 3rd level of Power Plant, which enables clients to check their account balance, transfer funds, pay bills as well as withdraw in two currencies – Philippine pesos and US dollars.

The bank has been growing its ATM locations, targeting strategic locations around Metro Manila to be where its clients are. Apart from ATMs in its branches to ensure round-the-clock banking, Citibank has installed ATM facilities in Makati Shangri-La Hotel, Seibu Tower in Fort Bonifacio and Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.

According to Citibank Retail head Anthony Thomas, Citibank ATMs offer a host of transactions that make banking more accessible.

“And as we expand our presence in key areas, our clients will find it more and more convenient to bank with us,” Thomas added.

Aside from allowing clients to withdraw dollars, another distinctive feature is a high daily withdrawal limit of up to $3,000 at Citibank ATMs. Clients can also pay their loans, utilities and credit card bills, order a checkbook, print their last 10 transactions, request for a Citibank Credit Card statement, and inquire about foreign exchange rates.

Using their Citicards, clients can even transfer funds to another account for free when they transact via Citibank ATMs.

Citibank clients can withdraw for free from over 20,000 Citibank ATMs worldwide. Apart from its offsite ATMs, Citibank clients also welcome the free withdrawals offered to them at any bank’s ATM in the Philippines. “This is a feature that our clients truly value. Not only do they save on ATM fees but we also make it easy for them to access their funds anywhere they are at no cost to them,” said Thomas.
