Olivan, Camacho top thousands of runners in 'Suki Dash'
MANILA, Philippines — Over 10,000 runners joined in the fun for the Mercury Drug Suki Dash 2026 on Sunday at Filinvest City Alabang.
And it was Greco Olivan and Maricar Camacho who led the field as Mercury Drug continued its commitment to promoting health and wellness, this time through running.
Olivan topped the men's 10K division after crossing the finish line in 35 minutes and 16 seconds, in front of Steven Sta. Ana (39:36) and Marcus Ralph Penaranda (40:03).
Camacho, meanwhile, ruled the women's 10K race in 42 minutes and eight seconds, followed by Pauline Kaye Escuro (46:49) and Mary Joys San Juan (47:19).
The run lived up to everyone's anticipation, with participants taking home hefty lootbags while also getting a chance to get up close with personalities like Iza Calzado and JB Suarez, who joined in the race, as well as activation opportunities with Donny Pangilinan, Luis Manzano and Angel Canino.
Mitsuru Watanabe led the men's 5K in 17:22, followed by Kurt Erick Montes (17:50) and Symon Santos (18:31), while Jo Punay paced the women in 22:09, way ahead of podium finishers Mary Jane Olivan (26:40) and Kirsten Elisse Sanchez (27:17).
Alec Rowen Garcia finished first in the men's 3K completing the course in 10:25, narrowly beating Vince Andrei Sabandal (10:31) and Sidro Espinosa (10:36), as Karla Marie Superiano claimed the victory among the women in 14:33, ahead of Gabriella Liwanag (16:08) and Liz Ascutia (16:25).
The Mercury Drug Suki Dash indeed was a celebration of healthier lifestyles, stronger communities, and the journey toward better wellness.
