MANILA, Philippines — Media and entertainment giant ABS-CBN Corp. continues to bring customers innovative and pioneering products with the launch of its new Sky Fiber All-In Box.
The first of its kind in the country, Sky Fiber All-In Box combines the power of a WiFi-enabled modem, digital terrestrial TV, and cable TV modem for total entertainment.
“The Sky Fiber All-In Box frees users from the hassles of maintaining three different devices for their broadband, cable TV, and digital terrestrial TV services. It allows Filipino families to enjoy unlimited, fiber-fast internet speeds of up to 200 Mbps and watch television and online shows,” ABS-CBN said.
The device also offers a full range of other conveniences that include a program schedule reminder, the ability to record shows, a built-in media players for video and music, parental control settings for those who want to keep track of their kids’ viewing, and access to one’s account information such as account data and billing information.
The All-In Box, which is available for a special introductory installation fee of P1,499, is initially available in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Davao, and General Santos.
ABS-CBN said subscribers could choose to avail of the new All-In Box together with its recently-launched Sky Fiber’s unlimited and affordable Super Speed Plans.
The new Super Speed Plans are a set of fiber-fast home internet subscription plans that are the most affordable in the market and offers the most value for money.
Sky Cable Corp. is behind products such as leading cable brand Skycable, direct-to-home television service Skydirect, and unlimited fiber internet through Sky Fiber.
ABS-CBN is the first TV network in the country to broadcast in digital. In 2015, it commercially rolled out its digital TV box, ABS-CBN TVplus, to prepare for the country’s switch to digital TV.
Last June, the company launched the mobile version of ABS-CBN TVplus in the form of a dongle called ABS-CBN TVplus Go, which gives users the chance to watch shows available on networks broadcasting in digital anytime and anywhere through their phones.
