LIST: Int’l flights canceled due to bad weather in Japan

MANILA, Philippines (Philippines News Agency) – A number of international flights were canceled Monday afternoon due to bad weather in Japan, Ninoy Aquino International Airport management said.

In its advisory, Manila International Airport Authorities said some Philippine Airlines and Delta Airlines flights have been grounded.

Weather.com said some 400 flights were also canceled in Tokyo due to the anticipated onslaught of Typhoon “Minduelle.” over Tokyo on Monday. The Japanese government have also warned its residents of possible landslides.

According to reports, typhoon 'Mindulle' landed over Tokyo on Monday.

The Japanese Meteorological Agency forecast floods, heavy rains as well as high waves in provinces across the country due to the typhoon.
