MANILA, Philippines - The country’s preferred credit card brand sets a new standard for rewarding cardholders with the national launch of Citi Prestige, Citi’s first global credit card designed to offer uniform global benefits to affluent clients.
Citi Prestige is currently available in 10 countries – Australia, Colombia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Korea, Thailand, the United States and Mexico. Citi is working to offer Citi Prestige to customers in additional markets by the end of this year.

The Citi Prestige Card enters the Philippine market at an important time as the emerging affluent market is foreseen to expand given the robust economy and outlook of a sustained GDP growth of around seven percent year-on-year, according to the National Economic and Development Authority.
Citigold and Citi wealth management clients will be given the opportunity to be among the first to sign up for this unique product. “There was strong interest from our Citigold clients who are excited to be founding members of Citi Prestige when we officially launch to the public this November,” related Citi Philippines’ Consumer Banking Head Bea Tan.
