MANILA, Philippines — The PLDT High Speed Hitters are not resting on their laurels – but they sure made time to rest.

After bagging a hard-earned bronze in the PVL All-Filipino Conference, the High Speed Hitters stepped off the taraflex and into recovery mode. With batteries recharged, they’re setting their sights on another title run in the 2026 PVL On Tour.

“We highly prioritize the balance between the work we put in since the pre-season and the rest needed after every conference,” said head coach Raid Ricafort.

The break was well-spent across the roster.

Setter Kim Fajardo called it “a time for self-realization.” For outside hitter Kiesha Bedonia, it was a full reset of mind, body and identity. Opposite hitter Jessey de Leon, an architect off the court, turned to creative work to recharge.

Now, the downtime is done. The jerseys are on. The comfort phase is over. The High Speed Hitters are to hunt again.
