Faustino bagong AFP chief

MANILA, Philippines — Kinumpirma kahapon ng Malacañang na itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Lieutenant General Jose C. Faustino, Jr. bilang Chief of Staff ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) simula ngayon.

Ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, epektibo ngayong araw na ito, Hulyo 31, 2021 ang pag-upo ni Faustino bilang AFP chief.

Naniniwala ang Malacañang na ipagpapatuloy ni Faustino ang “peace and development efforts” ng mga nauna sa kanya.

Sinabi rin ni Roque na ipagdarasal nila ang tagumpay ni Faustino sa kanyang bagong papel bilang AFP chief.
