Duterte bumagsak sa survey
MANILA, Philippines – “High electoral shift” ang tawag ni SWS President Mahar Mangahas sa naging resulta ng pinakahuling quarterly survey nila na lumabas bago mag-Pasko.
Lumabas na statistically tied sina Vice President Jejomar Binay at Sen. Grace Poe para sa unang puwesto at pangalawa naman si Daang Matuwid presidentiable Mar Roxas.
“The most striking finding of the December 12-14 survey was not the tie of Poe and Binay for first place, but the drop of Rodrigo Duterte to fourth place at 20 percent, or below Mar Roxas’s third place at 22 percent,” sulat ni Mangahas sa kanyang kolumn.
Tinukoy ni Mangahas ang nauna nilang survey noong Nobyembre na ipinakitang nasa unang puwesto si Duterte.
“The points lost by Duterte went primarily to Roxas, who thereby crept to only 4 points behind Poe and Binay,” dagdag niya.
Matatandaang nagkaroon ng word war sina Roxas at Duterte na tinaguriang “sampalan war” ng kumasa si Roxas sa hamon ni Duterte ngunit umatras naman ang huli. Tila maraming nagulat sa matapang na sagot ni Roxas kay Duterte, na tinawag nitong “bully” at nangangaya lamang ng di lumalaban.
