Spook-tacular Halloween Treats

CEBU, Philippines - There’s no better time to indulge the sweet tooth than this Halloween season. Spook-tacular treats await everyone at Krispy Kreme.

Krispy Kreme has always celebrated the season of scares. As the holiday’s celebrations in the Philippines just get bigger and bigger every year, the Halloween tradition at Krispy Kreme is also leveling up with more themed treats and offerings.

The selection of flavors in the Halloween 2016 Doughnuts has something for every sweet tooth. The Halloween Sprinkles is glazed with chocolate and topped with purple and orange sprinkles. The Spider Web is an Iced Kreme-filled treat, while the Green Zombie is filled with Choco Kreme. If wanting some classic custard filling, one may get the Mummy. The Frankie doughnuts come in both green and purple colors. The Pumpkin and the Skeleton doughnuts are something to try for Halloween. And for some texture in every bite, there’s the Worms loaded with gummies. These limited-edition doughnuts may be availed of by piece or by the dozen.

There are also seasonal promotions for customers from October 19 to November 1. Krispy Kreme posts riddles on its Facebook page, and the correct answers serve as coupon codes for free treats to be redeemed via the app. From 4 to 8 p.m., customers may present their Krispy Kreme mobile app at select stores to play ‘Feed the Monster’. Those that shoot six balls or more within 30 seconds win a box of three Halloween doughnuts! Customers may also create their own monster doughnuts in-store for a special price per box of three pieces.

Tomorrow, October 31, special surprises await customers. From 3 to 7 p.m., select Krispy Kreme stores have a cosplayer in Halloween costume to really get everyone in the spooky spirit. For another treat, app users in costume may present the loot bag coupon at any Krispy Kreme store nationwide starting 3 p.m. to receive a Krispy Kremesurprise. (FREEMAN)
