Brad Pitt iimbestigahan daw ng FBI sa pang-aabuso sa anak

May isyu palang child abuse ang actor na si Brad Pitt. Ang sabi, sa eroplano raw naganap ang pang-aabuso sa isa sa anim na anak nila ni Angelina Jolie at iimbestigahan na raw ng FBI. Nangyari umano ang insidente sa biyahe mula France to Los Angeles.

Affected kasi talaga ang karamihan sa hiwalayan ng mag-asawa as if kilalang-kilala natin sila.

Heto ang statement ng FBI na lumabas sa iba’t ibang online news agencies pero unang lumabas sa Us Weekly.

“In response to your inquiry regarding allegations within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States; specifically, an aircraft carrying Mr. Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI is continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued.”

Naghain ng annulment si Angelina pagkatapos ng dalawang taon nilang pagsasama bilang mag-asawa bagama’t umabot sa 10 years ang kanilang relasyon.

Patintero bubuhayin sa pelikula

Salamat naman at may pelikulang katulad ng Patintero: Ang Alamat Ni Meng Patalo na magbibigay ng idea sa mga kabataan kung ano ang larong ito.

Hindi na nga alam ng maraming kabataan ngayon ang mga larong Pinoy katulad nga nitong patintero. Literal na adik na sa hi-tech gadgets ang karamihan. Wala silang ginawa kundi maglaro at mag-social media.

Sa bagong obra ni Direk Mihk Vergara na isa sa mga hinangaan sa ginanap na QCinema Film Festival last year at nagwaging Audience Choice and Gender Sensitivity, mapapanood ang kakaibang kuwento na iikot sa patintero.

“At the end of the day, our goal is to create an entertaining film. But we’re [also] hoping that through this movie, we can start a movement for kids to go out and play.  If not, then at least we hope to create awareness that we, [their parents and older siblings], once played these games,” pahayag ni Direk Vergara.

Nakatutok ang kuwento ng pelikula sa batang babae na nalampasan ang mga challenges sa buhay sa tulong ng kanyang mga kaibigan. Tatalakay din ito sa pagkakaibigan, teamwork, sportsmanship, at may strong message sa anti-bullying.

Bida sa pelikula ang talented young cast led by Nafa Hilario Cruz (Meng), Isabel ‘Lenlen’ Frial (Nicay), William Buenavente (Shifty), and Claude Adrales (Z-Boy) with Katya Santos and Suzette Ranillo.

Aminado si Direk na inspired ito sa kanyang pagmamahal sa Japanese anime, comic books, and sports movies, pero mas pinalalim niya para mas maging malaki at exciting ang kuwento sa pagpapalabas nito sa mga sinehan.

“We didn’t change the story. It’s still the same narrative that people loved from the QCinema version. What we found out is that kids responded really well to the movie. So what we did is to make it more palatable to them by ad­ding more action scenes and anime-inspired graphics,” sabi ni Direk Vergara.

Ito ay produced ng TBA (Tuko Films, Buchi Boy Entertainment, Artikulo Uno Productions), the same team na nasa likod ng matagumpay na pelikulang Heneral Luna.

Mag-iikot para makipaglaro ang cast ng Patintero sa ilang malls around the metro, simula ngayong Linggo, September 25 at SM Southmall. On October 2, Sunday, the kids and comic book illustrators Rob Cham, Arnold Arre, Carlorozy Clemente and Mich Cervantes will be at SM North EDSA to promote the Patintero: Mga Alamat ng Patalo comic book. Later that afternoon, the cast will be at SM Fairview for a grand patintero tournament. Kids from ages 9-12 years old are encouraged to join.

Magkakaroon ito ng red carpet premiere on October 1, Sa­turday, at SM Megamall. Inaasahang susuportahan ang family-day event ng maraming celebrity kasama na ang mga bida ng Heneral Luna.
