Australia paghahandaan ang Gilas Pilipinas

Russell Cadayona - Pilipino Star Ngayon

“The unique challenges that the Philippines present have definitely been part of the discussion and selection process,” ani Lemanis sa ulat ng fiba.com.

“Basketball is the number one sport in the Philippines, they produce highly skilled players and play well together as a team,” dagdag pa nito.

"Continuity is important in the team, especially with the limited preparation time in the FIBA windows," wika ni Lemanis.

Nasa training pool ng Gilas Pilipinas sina four-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo, naturalized player Andray Blatche, Jayson Castro, Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, Jio Jalalon, RR Pogoy, Matthew Wright, Allein Maliksi, Gabe Norwood, Carl Bryan Cruz, Mac Belo, Troy Rosario at Japeth Aguilar.
