PSL tankers babanderahan nina Dula, Mojdeh sa Japan swim meet

MANILA, Philippines — Ipaparada ng Philippine Swimming League (PSL) ang 30 tankers sa 2017 Buccaneer Invitational Swimming Championship na magsisimula sa Sabado sa St. Mary’s International School sa Tokyo, Japan.

Mangunguna sa kampanya ng Pinoy tankers sina reigning Swimmers of the Year Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque at Marc Bryan Dula ng Wisenheimer Academy.

Aarangkada rin ang Diliman Preparatory School standouts na sina Paul Christian King Cu­sing, Lee Grant Cabral, Albert Sermonia II at Francino Archer Corpuz gayundin sina Marikina Aquabears bets Charles Philip Andallo at Aubrey Tom, Dipilog Aqua Warriors Kiara Acierto at Leodd Troy, at Arbeen Miguel Thruelen ng Aqua Sprintz.

Kasama rin sa delegasyon sina Arabella Resado, Trump Christian L­uistro, Sophia Barcelo, Leah Buenaventura, Raindale C­hing, Sofia Ching, Aishel Cid Evangelista, Joaquin Mirasol, Kyla Soguilon, Chellsie Ramirez, Ale­xandra Rejuso, Kenshin Rejuso, Hanna Sales, Bien Santos, Martina Estrella, Chloe Laurente, Richelle Callera, Master Charles Janda at Triza Tabamo.

“The Japan competition is always a tough competition for us. It’s a good opportunity for our young swimmers to experience competing internationally. It will help them in buil­ding their character and confidence,” wika ni PSL President Susan Papa na kasama sa delegasyon sina Secretary General Maria Susan Benasa, Marcelino Dalen ng Rotary Club at coaches Alex Papa at Ariel Compas.

Nagpasalamat si Papa sa Filipino community sa Japan sa pangunguna nina Myles Briones Beltran  at Hiroshi Katsumata na nagtulung-tulong upang makalikom ng pondo para sa PSL tankers. Ilan pa sa miyembro ng Sama­hang Pilipino sa Japan ay sina Joy Manuel, Rowena Ashina, Cindy Sotooka, Espie Mejia, Lynn Danforth, Helen Nakamura at Yumi Yoshiyuki.
