Pilipino Star Ngayon

MANILA, Philippines - Tatlong Philippine Swimming League (PSL) tankers ang gagawaran ng natatanging parangal sa prestihiyosong Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Annual Awards Night na gaganapin ngayong gabi sa One Esplanade sa Pasay City.

Nangunguna sa listahan sina Swimmer of the Year top candidates Sean Terence Zamora ng University of Santo Tomas at Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque na paparangalan ng Tony Siddayao-Outstanding Young Athlete awards.

Nasungkit naman ni reigning PSL Female Swimmer of the Year Kyla Soguilon ng Aklan ang kanyang ikalawang Milo Junior Athlete of the Year award.

“PSL indeed is very happy that we have three PSA outstanding swimmers for the year for 2015. What a blessing. In just five years of existence, we were able to develop young athletes from grassroots level,” ani PSL President Susan Papa. “Their hard work plus good in character bring them to be outstanding athletes both in local and international competition.
