Ask ko lang, Salve A., if true na ang ama ng anak ng isang pasikat na aktres ay siya rin diumanong father ng anak ng nakatatandang kapatid na babae ng isang kilalang actor?
Wala sa showbiz ang lalaki, pero isa raw itong mayamang businessman.

Sharlene at Jairus magso-solo na sa serye
Congrats naman sa teenage love team na sina Sharlene San Pedro at Jairus Aquino, who will soon star daw in their own series, Langit-Lupa.
Both graduate ng youth gag program Goin’ Bulilit, the two are regular deejays ng MYX, the popular music channel.
Between Sharlene and Jairus, it is Sharlene who is continuing her studies, as she has promised daw her parents, she will finish college, no matter what.
Richard marunong magbenta ng sarili
Richard Yap sure knows how to market himself as an actor, that is. And for a reason, he is a Marketing graduate from a university in Cebu and for a time, nagtrabaho as division manager of a high-class interior designing firm.
Nonethess joining showbiz was never in his agenda. Until one time, after doing an ad for a food chain, someone from ABS-CBN approached him and asked kung interested siyang mag-artista.
After consulting with his wife, Melody, and their two kids, who advised him to give it a try, the rest kumbaga is history.
Gumanap siya bilang ama ni Kim Chiu sa My Binondo Girl, which was soon followed by the phenomenal series, Be Careful with My Heart.
Sa Be Careful…, nabago ang team-up nila ni Jodi Sta. Maria, which was well-loved by viewers na tumututok sa series.
But do you know that, after Be Careful… ‘di na muli silang nagkasama ni Jodi sa kahit anong projects. Until nga they got together dito sa The Achy Breaky Hearts, a Star Cinema movie, co-starring the two of them with Ian Veneracion and with Antoinette Jadaone directing.
Ang The Achy Breaky Hearts is scheduled for release Wednesday, June 29, in 170 theaters nationwide.
May premiere ang movie sa June 28 sa Megamall.
Richard at Ian pareho ang buhay
Of his leading lady, Jodi, Richard describes her as a sweet person. Napakahusay din daw nitong artista. At magaang katrabaho.
Of Ian naman, magaling din daw itong artista. Na ‘di raw niya pinagtatakhan, since nagsimula nga namang child actor si Ian.
One thing, Richard specifies, he and Ian have in common, they both have solid marriages. They are good parents as well, he added.
Richard’s eldest, Ashley is 20 and in college. Seventeen lang ang panganay ni Ian na isang lalaki, at nasa college na rin.
Aiza at Liza itutuloy na ang paggawa ng baby
Don’t look now, Salve A., pero according mismo kay Liza Diño, she and ‘‘better-half,’’ singer and former child actress Aiza Seguerra, may yet realized their wish na magka-baby. Yes, sarili daw nilang baby.
And this is daw via the in vitro fertilization (IVF) method processing of which will happen in October in the U.S.
Overwhelmed daw si Aiza with the idea of having a baby. Yes, hers and Liza’s own.
Liza kasi already has a daughter, named Amara.
