P95-M shabu found in abandoned car

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) personnel recovered around 19 kilos of shabu, with a street value of P95 million, in an abandoned car in Quezon City Thursday night.

The packs of shabu were hidden in two water containers placed in the trunk of a Mitsubishi Lancer (WPB-418) left at a lot along Tangali street in Barangay San Jose.

The PDEA agents seized the shabu after three days of surveillance to see if anyone would return for the car.

A tip from an informant led to the recovery of the vehicle, whose owner has yet to be identified.
