Quakes jolt Bukidnon, Leyte

MANILA, Philippines — Earthquakes with magnitudes of 3.7 and 3.5 jolted parts of Bukidnon and Leyte, respectively, yesterday.

The epicenter of the tremor, which occurred in Bukidnon at around 3:56 a.m., was located eight kilometers southeast of Libona town.

The quake was felt at Intensity 4, which is classified as moderately strong, in Libona; Intensity 3 in Cagayan de Oro, Manolo Fortich and Baungon, and Intensity 2 in Sumilao and Talakag.

The epicenter of the quake that shook Leyte at around 12:05 p.m. was located 12 kms northeast of Ormoc. The tremor was felt at Intensity 3 in the city.
