Missing girl, 8, found dead

ILOILO CITY, Philippines — An eight-year-old girl who was reported missing in Libacao, Aklan on Tuesday was found dead on Friday.

The decomposing body of Crisha Nobleza was found naked in nearby Barangay Guadalupe.

Probers said the victim could have also been raped.

The girl failed to return home when she went out to help her parents in a cornfield.

Mayor Charito Navarosa said they would offer a reward for information that would lead to the arrest of the assailant.
