Woman gunned down

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Motorcycle-riding men shot dead a woman in Guagua, Pampanga on Sunday.

A report received by Senior Superintendent Joel Consulta, Pampanga police acting director, identified the victim as Jenny Alegre, 44.

Alegre was at her house in Barangay Lambac when men wearing black jackets and helmets entered and shot her several times.

The victim’s neighbor, Lanie Sampang, was hit by a stray bullet and confined at the Diosdado Macapagal Memorial Hospital.

Police have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
