LIST: Closed roads, alternate routes for ASEAN Ministerial Meeting
MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in Manila and Pasay City will be closed for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations 50th anniversary festivities and ministerial meetings.
The Metro Manila Development Authority announced that some roads will be closed to all vehicles to give way to the delegates of the 50th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting. It also designated ASEAN lanes for them.
The MMDA traffic scheme will be implemented from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on August 8, Tuesday. ASEAN Ministerial Meeting closing ceremony will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center while a parade and concert will be held in Cultural Center of the Philippines complex and Bonifacio Global City, respectively.
ASEAN warned motorists of heavy traffic and advised them to take alternate routes. It also announced total truck ban along Roxas Boulevard.
