Mild quakes rock Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines - Mild earthquakes hit parts of Mindanao yesterday, but no damage to property was reported, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

The first tremor occurred at 2 a.m. some 16 kilometers southwest of Wao in Lanao del Sur. It was felt at Intensity 3 in Kalilangan, Bukidnon.

The second tremor occurred 27 km southwest of Wao at 6:26 a.m. It was felt at Intensity 3 in Wao and Intensity 2 in Kalilangan.
