Senior Inspector Von Nicasio, Lipa City fire marshall identified the fatalities as Brylle Xander Lalusis and Devon Christopher Masim.
The victims were left by their mother who were at the market when the fire broke out, Nicasio said.
"Mukhang nagpanic 'yung nagbabantay sa mga bata kaya n'ya naiwan sila sa loob ng bahay," Nicasio said.
It was around 11:35 a.m. when the fire started at the residential area in Barangay 2. Firefighters were able to suppress the fire at around 1:30 pm after reaching the fourth alarm.
Nicasio said ten houses, mostly made of light materials were burned, leaving 13 families homeless.
Firefighters from Padre Garcia, San Jose, Mataas Na Kahoy, Malvar and Tanauan also helped in fighting the fire.
Fire probers said initial investigation revealed that faulty electrical wiring causes the fire that damaged around 10-million worth of properties
