3 slain in Davao

DAVAO CITY, Philippines – A family of three were killed in Barangay Baracatan in Toril district at around midnight on Tuesday.

The victims were identified as Percidal Idar, his wife Carlita and their 12-year-old son John.

Carlita’s brothers Nilo and Romulo Toleron allegedly perpetrated the killings. Nilo was arrested while Romulo remains at large.

Probers are eyeing a grudge as the motive for the killings.
