LIVE List: Class suspensions for August 30

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Education and some local government units on Tuesday, August 30, called off classes in some areas due to bad weather triggered by the southwest monsoon.

Most areas which canceled classes were northern provinces, where cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains were expected. These persisting rains may cause flashfloods and landslides.
