6 nabbed in Negros drug raid

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – Six persons were arrested in a drug raid in La Carlota City in Negros Occidental Sunday.

The arrest of Emily Gan, 24; Jessie Roldan, 22; Joan Jetes, 24; Mary Grace Rosalejos, 25; Mary Ann Vilardi, 22,  and Rose Romiero was based on a warrant issued by Judge Anita Guanzon-Chua for drug charges.

Anti-narcotics agents raided Gan’s house after concerned citizens complained of drug activities in the area.

The raiding team reportedly seized from the suspects 12 plastic sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia.

Gabinete said Gan’s house was reportedly being used as a drug den.
