Neighbors stab each other dead over loud music
MANILA, Philippines — Two neighbors stabbed each other to death during an argument that stemmed from loud music in Barangay Gulod, Quezon City on Saturday.
Probers said the argument started when Felipe Floralde, 64, who was cooking food in his house, became annoyed by the loud music coming from the house of Marcos Lomosco, 49.
Floralde confronted his neighbor, asking him to turn the volume down, but Lomosco responded by taking out a bladed weapon and attacking Floralde.
Floralde got hold of Lomosco’s knife and they both sustained stab wounds in different parts of the body.
A nephew of Floralde, Emil de Asis, was initially arrested after a minor accused him of joining the fight. Police later found out he was not involved.
De Asis is still under police custody as he faces charges for slapping a minor. He admitted to doing so.
