4 drug suspects slain

MANILA, Philippines - At least four suspected drug pushers and users were killed in Metro Manila on Monday.

Construction worker Solino Nagares Jr., 48, and his partner Sarah Jane Baesa, 45, were watching President Duterte’s State of the Nation Address on television when an assailant barged into their house in Barangay Bambang at around 4:30 p.m. and shot them repeatedly. The two were on the barangay’s drug watchlist.

Reynante Rosal, 32, was shot dead, allegedly by Arthur Flores, during a heated argument in Bagong Silang, Caloocan at around 10 a.m.

Caspar Palacio, 35, was shot dead by police officers during a raid on Barangay 176, also in Bagong Silang, at around 11:45 p.m.
