Fire hits UST building

MANILA, Philippines - Faulty electrical wiring sparked a fire at the pavilion of the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila yesterday morning. 

Arson probers said the fire started at 11 a.m. and was put out 30 minutes later. 

Inspector Efren Bereña of the Sampaloc fire station said the blaze struck the pavilion used as the university’s sports complex.
