Quarantine eyed for peacekeepers

MANILA, Philippines - The Filipino peacekeepers who will be pulled out from West African nations due to the Ebola outbreak will undergo quarantine, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said yesterday.

According to the DFA, the pullout of the Filipino peacekeepers from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone may take two to three months.

The peacekeepers are under United Nations-sanctioned global peacekeeping operations.
