Grenade blast rocks MPD station

MANILA, Philippines - A grenade was thrown at the Manila Police District’s Raxabago station in Tondo, Manila yesterday.

No one was hurt in the explosion but a motorcycle and the gray Toyota Vios of the station’s commander, Superintendent Julius Anonuevo, were destroyed.

On March 20, someone lobbed a grenade at the Smokey Mountain police precinct, leaving three people wounded. In both incidents, robbers were tagged as possible culprits.
